The vision for the scheme was to create a distinctive urban environment adopting the Design Code as a framework but emphasising the forward thinking approach of the applicant to the creation of residential environments. The buildings reflect modern trends in living with a fresh palette of materials and house designs.
In order to clearly establish public and private spaces a strong public face is proposed to the perimeter of the site allowing gardens to be clearly situated on the private interior of the scheme.
The High Street frontage is designated as a key frontage in the development masterplan and features a landmark building to the south east corner.
