MERCURY BUSINESS PARK, BRADNINCH - PLANNING APPLICATION SUBMITTED

Reserved Matters planning application submitted for the development of vacant land at Bradninch, between Exeter and Cullompton.

The proposed scheme aims to provide flexible accommodation for B1/B2 and B8 employment usage with associated car parking.

Outline planning approval was granted in July 2018 for the erection of business units on the site, and prior to the submission of this application a number of feasibility studies were undertaken to consider alternative forms of commercial development, site layouts and range of unit sizes.

Following discussions with local property agents the application was developed to respond to a perceived high level of demand for starter business units.

The development proposes 6 separate blocks totalling circa 60,000 ft² of floor space, sub-divided into a total of 51 small units. The layout provides the opportunity to combine adjoining units and deliver a wide variety of building footprints.
