LOWER ASHLEY ROAD - STREET ARTWORK

Residential Redevelopment Mural

A vibrant, large-scale street artwork, inspired by the words and memories of local people, has been created at the affordable housing development at Lower Ashley Road in St Pauls, Bristol.

Affordable housing provider Brighter Places collaborated with Upfest, Bristol’s world-renowned street art festival, to commission Hazard0ne, who lives locally and is one of the UK’s top street artists, to explore and develop the eye-catching design which aims to convey a sense of local diversity, inclusion and community.

Redevelopment of the former petrol station site will include a mix of one, two and three bed apartments providing a total of 31 affordable homes, and is due for completion in 2023.
