Jonathan Jarman BA BArch RIBA

Jonathan joined the Practice in 1987 and has held a senior role since 1992. His experience and responsibilities have included managing project teams and client liaison on contracts ranging from £15M to £0.5M under various procurement routes.

Jonathan has been involved with strategy master-planning and detailed design for both residential and commercial projects including business parks and provided design, project management and contract administration services for end user and speculative development commissions.

Jonathan’s recent experience includes:

  • Promotion of both employment and residential land allocations and master planning for strategic sites including land adjacent to M4 Junction 17, M5 Junction 25, Oldfield Common, Parklands in Weston-super-Mare, Williton and Rockingham Park, Avonmouth.

  • Detail design of residential proposals throughout the South West from Minehead to Weston-super-Mare for Summerfield Homes including promotion and detailed design of 183 new dwellings on land outside defined settlement boundary at Durleigh Road, Bridgwater.

  • £7M refurbishment of former Motorola offices and warehouse accommodation in Swindon with construction of new 70,000 ft² high bay warehouse for pharmaceutical supplies company Vygon. The commission also included works to improve the environmental performance of the central ‘street’ and construction of new service yard with associated docking bays for articulated vehicles

  • Design and delivery of a number of city centre residential and student accommodation schemes including a current conservation area development proposal to provide up to 235 bedroom spaces in a range of cluster flats, twodios and studios.

  • Architectural and Contract Administration services for Mulberry associated with three phases of development to cater for a significant increase in the work force, from 125 to 350, over a five year period. The production facility has remained fully operational throughout all stages of the development and future phases include new build 100,000 ft² warehouse
