Care Home Redevelopment
Planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of the former Padbrook Park Hotel, Cullompton, to create a 59-bed care home, specialising in dementia care.
The proposed change of use application, coordinated by Crossman Planning Consultancy, seeks to carefully retain and adapt the existing building fabric and introduce a modest rear extension, to deliver a sustainable, and much needed, contribution to the local provision of care services.
Care Group (SW) Ltd specialises in providing expert dementia care and support to individuals with a primary need and high levels of personal vulnerability. It is envisaged that the proposed care home will provide employment opportunities for 122 staff in total.
